Prompts = Stupendous, Viceroy, Sedate
General Penrose stood at attention in front of Viceroy Williamson, the King’s representative of the colony. The Viceroy sat back sedately, a glass of red in one hand, his overlarge stomach cradling a silver platter holding the remains of a large lunch.
‘How fared the battle with the traitorous rebels, General? And remember, no bad news. I can’t stand bad news.’
‘Yes sir. There was a stupendous victory.’
‘Excellent. Anything else?’
‘You’ll be seeing your family again shortly.’
‘The only family I had are now deceased.’
‘Exactly, sir.’
‘Then I’ll savour one last glass of wine before I, ah, depart.’
