Prompts = Ancestor, Cool, Pillar

Rosemary leaned against a stylized pillar; it gave the family crypt an appropriate feel. The air was cool and humid; watching her breath billow out helped keep her from getting angry at her ancestors.

‘Haven’t you gotten through that awful lavender incense? I much prefer the sandalwood. Why do you have to finish the box before moving on to the good stuff?’

Sorry, Grandpa Frederick.

As she lit candles, her mind wandered: why this need to honour the departed; life would be much simpler without these visits.

‘You blind as a bat? You missed one.’

Thank you, Great Aunt Mildred.
