Covid Plant Shopping

Prompts = Return, Pester, Scrub

Before Covid, I enjoyed going to a coffeeshop deep within a plant market. With the pandemic keeping me housebound, I’m bringing plants into my home, via online shopping and delivery services!

Mostly, I receive healthy plants packed with loving care. But not always. One philodendron was so mangled… I could’ve scraped and scrubbed the surviving bits out the box… it was horrible.

I complained to the shop. After endless pestering they finally agreed to send a refund if I returned the remains to them at my cost.

I refused.

Instead, I wrote a scathing review calling them “Callous Plant Murderers”.
