Animals and children are sometimes left in hot, unventilated vehicles. Plants are often left in hot, unventilated houses.
We’re on location with a plant rescue team to render aid at this undisclosed location.
An unlocked second-floor window grants access. The team then enters through a now unlocked door. Light and water metres are used to assess how dire the situation is while other members hook up hoses and fill buckets with fertilized water.

Story 2 — Underwater Bunker

A small army of lawyers witnessed the signing of a contract. The CEO of a large construction conglomerate signed after making sure there were clauses throughout the agreement that the building would be built as specified and that no legal liability would fall to him or the company for doing so. The other signee was the leader of a wealthy sect of Breatharians. He happily signed.
The underwater bunker, located on the seabed 100 kilometres off the coast, had no provision for ventilation, not even an air hose; the release of “sacred breath” to the impure outside world was anathema.
