Prompts = Tinted, Recumbent, Prolific
When Teddy heard it was going to be a five-hour car trip, he decided it’d be a good time to catch me up on my math studies. His lessons are prolific but I’m not a good student, especially where numbers are concerned. He tried history.
‘Did you know people used to drive cars?’
It seemed remarkable that cars weren’t always rolling entertainment-rich bedrooms, but he spooled up a video to show me.
‘I’m tired Teddy. Make the windows tinted, please.’
‘When you lie down, you’re “recumbent”.’
I didn’t answer, but hugged my teddybear to me and fell asleep.
