Odd Historical Theories - Napoleon

Prompts = Meditation, Fromage, Napoleon

I’m Walter Edgebottom and this is Odd Historical Theories.

Simone Bouillabaisse has an elaborate Napoleon theory:

‘Napoleon’s soothsayer told him to invade Egypt to bring the wonders of that ancient land to the public’s attention. Being both a curious man and an epicurean, Napoleon wondered if Roquefort, un fromage bleu, could be waiting for him when he invaded.

‘The soothsayer grinned, gathered ingredients, sat in meditation in front of the Emperor, then disappeared. Poof!

‘It’s wrongly said Napoleon defaced the Sphinx. He only approached it to find his cheese. Which he enjoyed greatly.’

Up next, Atlantis, Antartica, and the Aztecs.
