I’d heard there’s a bar in an a dark corner of an obscure back alley in Guadalajara that’s a Mecca for tequila drinkers. I was in town on business; I decided to visit.
The bartender knew it was my first time without asking. He suggested I try the Sampler Special — ten shots of different brands, laden with various species of worm, each shot setting up the next on deck.
It was… I don’t remember. Or how I got back to my hotel room.
But it was good. I think.
I’ll try to remember when I go back there again tonight.
