I’ve been in the computer technician business for a lot of years. In that time, I’ve seen things. Disturbing things.
I once extricated a 5 1/4” disc that someone jammed into a 3 1/2” slot by folding it in half.
I dismantled someone’s chop job of welding Mac parts into a Windows-compatible machine.
The other day I was handed computer Swiss cheese; someone went all beast mode with an ice pick to install additional ports.
When AI becomes advanced enough to be our overlords, I sincerely hope they don’t do to us what we’ve done to them.
