Prompts = Program, Sweep, Protrude
Raymond sat in an aisle seat towards the front of the auditorium clasping a program, ready to casually jump up and calmly run to the stage to accept his award. All he needed was to hear his name read out as a winner. But it never came.
He sat in the seat as other lesser actors accepted awards. It was a clean sweep, in that he managed to not win a single thing, which, in a way, is a victory. Kind of.
And his smile, seemingly-heartfelt, protruded from his face. ‘This’, he thought to himself, ‘is award-winning acting.’
