Jessica was a passionate advocate for student-led learning. Small talk at parties, however, wasn’t a strength:
‘What do I do? I talk about the power of curiosity within children and harnessing it for better educational outcomes. Take someone who’s interested in triangles; a discussion about them can easily lead into all sorts of mathematical concepts including arithmetic, geometry, and trigonometry, as well as other subjects like English and history.
‘My question is when will those who design curriculums realize that their patriarchal attitude towards standardized education is harming kids.
‘And what do you do?’
‘Ummm… nothing. Sorry, gotta go.’

Story 2 — The Bermuda Triangle

Kirk sat back, stunned at his findings. He collected his thoughts, then began composing a post on the discussion board that wouldn’t attract snarky attitude in response. It went something like this:
The Bermuda Triangle was once the most feared piece of ocean on the entire planet. But not now. Why?
The answer must be a conspiracy to hide the truth hidden there.
What truth? Forerunners of our organization used to hold that the Earth is hollow and that the gateway to the underworld sits at the world’s poles. I realized it’s not true — it’s off the coast of Bermuda.
