‘Hey Bill! I’m just eatin’ some chowda here. Send another unit.’
‘Nah Frankie, Sarge says this one’s yours.’
‘It’s miles away, it’s freezin’ outside, and that genius wants me to do what?’
‘Look, all I know is some important so-and-so tried to pass on the left and caused a header. It’s your job to alert the citizen not to flout the law.’
‘Who is it?’
‘Judge Higgins.’
‘The “Hanging Judge”? Sarge hates me.’
‘Yeah, he does. So don’t make another pass at his daughter, ok?’
