‘Look at it. The grounds are under-utilized but my ambitious building plan will address this.’ He looked upon the garden, eyes bright, stance commanding. The window was shut to keep the chill out. ‘Make no mistake, I shall not fail to transform it all and bend it to my will.’ His reflection nodded encouragement.
‘Time for your espresso, your Majesty.’ The white-clad attendant with bulging biceps smiled.
‘Thank you, peasant. Your machine makes a delicious beverage.’
“King Louis” sipped at his medicated coffee while striding majestically along sanitarium halls wearing terrycloth slippers and bathrobe, his usual daily garb.
