Story 1 — What Attracts The Ladies?
He stood in the doorway of the close hut gripping his straw hat tightly, a poor farmer’s poorer son. He refused to look at its lone inhabitant, a widow it was said, knowledgeable in the ways of potions and tonics.
Her gaze lingered on him. ‘Your heart is filled with desire for someone who doesn’t know you exist. How shall we fix that?’
He looked miserable. ‘Don’t know.’
She laughed. ‘But I do. Sit and we’ll spark her interest.’ She scooped a paste from a pot. ‘Apply this thrice a day; the resulting manly moustache will impress.’

Story 2 — A Feline Newton
I firmly believe my cat is a reincarnated physicist, perhaps from the era of Sir Issac Newton. It’s the only way I can explain his incessant preoccupation with knocking things off shelves then looking down at what I call the splash pattern.
I have no idea what sparked his interest in constantly making sure gravity isn’t broken. Maybe it was the pot of chilli he accidentally toppled (or so his tawny face with the dark half moustache seemed to meow at me in his defence), but now nothing survives his experimentations for long.
Care to own a reincarnated physicist? Please?
