Prompts = Placement, Courteous, Tonne
His perception of time slowed to a crawl, ground to a near halt. Meanwhile, he was aware it flowed around him like a rushing river. It was like drowning, struggling for the surface, fighting for breath.
It required so much effort; too much to be excited or courteous or even pleasant.

Needles poked. Tinsel fluttered in its weightlessness, tying itself into knots.
Starting was hard. Stopping impossible.
