Story 1 — Thanks For The Help?
Gritlock McMacIntosh limped through the ruins, torch held in his left hand, club dangled from the right. A series of brutal fights had claimed his companions, including the healer. The vampire lord’s treasure lay untouched; Thor’s sole goal now was escape.
Maybe, he thought as he trudged, I should’ve paid more attention to the map. Maybe I’d know where I am right now if I had.
Looking down, he spotted a cloak. It was cold; something warm would be nice.
‘May I help fasten it for you, intruder?’, said an unseen voice.
‘Sure. Thanks’, he replied.
Uh oh, he thought.

Story 2 — Burning Down The House
Welcome back to Matt Varley’s Hit Parade. I’m Matt Varley and this next act is one I’m excited to share with you, especially for everyone who goes to bed long before the live music clubs everyone I know goes to open.
And so, without any further ado, let me ask you to fasten your seatbelts, sit back, and listen to the pyrotechnic sounds of Archie the Arsonist, singing what he insists I call a torch song, titled “Flames Are Red And Flames Are Blue.”
Would it be inappropriate to say you should burn the house down?
