Bicycles lack the cargo space of a car. For a bicycle cop, the lack of carrying capacity can be particularly annoying. Which is why Frank Cappuccino, Bicycle Patrol 51, looked for ways to increase it.
His best idea involved installing a peg board under the crossbar; not only could he have a water bottle (or coffee thermos) at the ready, but there was a pouch to hold donuts and keep them moist. Even his baton could hang on it and not from his belt.
Next on his invention list is rip-proof pants.
Or he could uninstall the donut pouch.
