Charles stood in the empty elevator that was whisking him from the observation deck of the tallest building in the city to ground level. He’d seen the skyline; time to visit some architecture!
He passed time by playing air guitar and watching himself in the mirrored panel. His “tourist necklace” — the Canon on its thick strap — bounced gently as he pranced on stage. He couldn’t remember the name of the song. Or the band. But that guitar solo was awesome!
As the elevator slowed to a stop, he composed himself, straightened the camera, and strode out respectably, the applause fading.
