Prompts = Slug, Fathom, Disease
‘I can’t fathom why humans view my people so negatively. They see snails as cute and slugs as disease ridden vermin but the only thing snails have that we don’t is a shell. And please don’t tell me it’s those silly swirly cabins strapped to their backs that makes them more palatable. I just don’t buy it.’
I read this post while browsing the new social media platform, DeepSeaSpace. I replied, ‘Funny — you mentioned the word “palatable”. Did you know humans eat snails?’
He replied after friending me. ‘Thank you friend starfish. I had no idea! I feel better now.’
