Rotate, Disaster, Often


“There’s a small panel held with six screws. Over.”

“Spotted. Over.”

“Starting with the Robertson screw, remove them in a clockwise direction. Over.”

“Roger. Proceeding… Finished. Over.”

“Hold the plate keeping the red and green wires separate. Cut the blue wire. Over.”

“Roger. Blue wire spotted. Cutting. Over.”

“But first rotate the timing lever ninety degrees. Fuck! Hold on!”

“Holding. Damnit! Get this right, moron! If we screw up, it’ll be a disaster.”

“Sorry man. It’s written ‘do this but first do that’ way too often.”

“Deal with it. What direction do I rotate the lever?”

“Shit. It doesn’t say.”
