After standing in line for over an hour waiting to clear Customs, it’s finally my turn. I’ve got my passport and declaration form ready.
She glanced from my documents to me. Was there a slight smile? If I turn on the charm, might there be a connection?
‘Purpose of my visit? Aside from attending workshops for a few days, I’m hoping I can cut loose a little, you know?’
A bit of a frown now.
‘You might be interested. It’s open to the public. I can send you a link if you want.’
Definite frown. Documents shoved at me.
