Xander Richards stood behind his gleaming teak desk, staring out at a view that never gets old. Xander, richest man in the world, philanthropist extraordinaire, former test pilot and astronaut, and current World Chess Champion, could sense the anxiety of the two men in ill-fitting suits and cheap shoes standing, almost at attention, on the other side of the desk.
“Xander? Sir? About that quandary…?”
Xander didn’t move. “More of a dilemma, don’t you think?”
A panicked response: “Yes sir!”
Xander turned his devastating stare on them. “I’ll solve your problem for twice my normal fee.”
“We’re grateful sir!”
