It’s said that the shower is not only a place to get clean but also a place where ideas mysteriously grow then pop, like lather. The running water has some effect on those Idea Eggs, warming them, incubating them, hatching them.
Every morning, characters I’ve been getting to know for a year swim in and out of my mind’s eye, sometimes giving me pause as a twist or turn in their storyline plays out. The shower can get crowded some mornings.
It’s a delightful way to let characters play and explore the where’s and why’s of what they do.
