Choose, Malign, Wish

BlueTip, a talking fox from the magical land of Milwaukee, held a lamp in his left hand; the right was poised, ready to rub and call the genie to ask for his third and last wish.

But what to choose?

He’d asked for Fame; through a series of improbable coincidences, he’d become known as The Wise BlueTip.

He’d asked for Fortune; kingdoms began bidding for his time and attention. Numerous treasure rooms were full.

How about Immortality? Yeah!

Rub, poof, yes?, request, granted.

He felt no different, until the teeth bit his neck, sucking.

His name was maligned forever.
