‘We always talk about how the hero overcomes challenges, eventually succeeding in the quest to better both themselves and their community.’

‘Well?’

‘It takes courage to face the challenges, but wouldn’t someone need to be truly brave to face the consequences of failure?’

‘Illuminate me concerning your position.’

‘The ability to live with the stigma of being unable to complete the quest. Knowing every day that they aren’t good enough.’

‘Is this about heroes, or you?’

‘Sorry. Never mind.’
