Trouble

Prompts = Wig, Fanciful, Leotard
She never intended to cause problems. But somehow Trouble always found her, always sneaking up on her like a certain big brother who found it funny to scare her at every opportunity he got.
Trouble found her the other day when she wanted to be pretty. Dressed in her very best leotard, she went to her mother’s dressing mirror and put lovely makeup on. And the wig, so big and blond and fanciful. And heels!
Trouble made a huge mess of it all: stains on her clothes, the carpet, in the wig.
She got punished. And Trouble laughed.

Ox, Leotard, Piñata

“My daughter was on stage. I was in the audience. She was so cute, dancing, in a pink leotard. Then her classmates joined her, even the boys, even the teacher, all in leotards. They joined hands and danced in a circle as a piñata dropped from the ceiling, singing a Beatles tune. Then a crash off-stage; they all turned, screamed, and ran off the other way. A fake ox came out - it was two boys. They bowed and the curtain closed. What does it mean, doctor?”

Dr. Joyce looked over her notepad. “That you should lay off the NyQuil.”
