Teenage Eating Machine

Prompts = Family, Predication, Famished

Tommy, my erstwhile teenage eating machine, had repeated growth spurts, apparently fuelled by continual raids on the kitchen. I sat him down to explain how it was inappropriate to eat at all hours.
“But I’m famished!”, he declared in his defence.
“That’s as may be, but we as a family require daily sustenance and meal planning is predicated upon the reasonable assumption that the necessary ingredients are available when required.”
“Yeah? But I’m hungry!”
Sadly, that was the most productive part of the conversation.
A solution was reached, however, when a separate pantry was created for his use.
Problem solved.

Deal, Family, Green

Five crime families have been operating in New York City for decades: Gambino, Lucchese, Genovese, Bonanno, and Colombo. But in the last few years, another crime family has arisen with a very different raison d’ĂȘtre: not financial gain, but environmental protection.

A recent spate of edits and amendments to building projects adding parks and green spaces, alternative energy production, water conservation, and other resource saving ideas shows that the Green Family (as they are rumoured to be called), is using the old idea of “deals that can’t be refused” for beneficial purposes.

Law enforcement is divided on what to do.
